Should take landis if there at 49. Will take a bum projected for fourth round with 49 in typical lou fashion. Remember matt corrente a lou nj reach at end of '08 first round on the advice of his chief scout conte. lou learned to take fourth round reaches in first from conte. On one hand i'm mad that colby barlow was right there in isles spot if lou didn't trade pick away. On the other hand i'm not mad cause if lou had a first he would have taken another third round projection at 17. Now lou is gonna re-sign varly once he (gasp) dumps baileys deal. This last week was the time to do that. A day late and a $ short once again for lou. And he'll give 36 year old varly three more years. Total schmuck gm. At least milbury made the draft exciting even tho he basically whiffed on most of those nine firsts between '97-'00. Only luongo turned into an all-star/h of famer-thriving after milbury traded him away.
