Slovakia is an interesting country to draft from. Tatar, Chara, Hossa, Gaborik, Halak. Not a whole lot from that country.
He’s a clunky, big-bodied, scoring left wing. He says he’s a two-way forward. Looks like a Corey Perry to me. Maybe a Monahan? Maybe a Draisaitl?
He’s no game breaker but he’s a great compliment. He’s close to NHL ready. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets 1g 1a in his first game without him being noticed

I’ve heard a couple people comparing him to a lesser skilled Slafkovsky. Say what you want about his rookie season, the kid was 18 and didn’t look completely lost. If that’s the kind of player he’s being compared to I’m lowkey excited
