  1. I'm a sabres fan and not a big fan of the pick. We're already stocked on small skilled forwards. This wasn't anywhere near what they needed. Getting rid of Quinn, who had roty votes, even though that's still kind of a joke is stupid for an unproven kid that weighs like 150 lbs

  2. Huge steal by the Sabres! We are building a powerhouse here finally!! Him and Savoie on the same line will be insane. Lets go Buffalo, we ending this playoff drought this year

  3. Krebs now useable as trade chip for a Dman along with say Ryan Johnson .
Krebs is replaceable now. Great pick here.

  4. As a Sabres fan, I'm cool with the pick. But I don't know about "replacing" Krebs with Benson. LW is a luxury need for Buffalo..Skinner is the only for-sure scoring weapon on the left side, maybe Peterka takes the next step as well. Olofsson is probably gone, Greenway is a bottom six power forward. But, Krebs adds a lot to Buffalo, even if it isn't a major scoring touch yet. He's got a ton of heart, fans and players like him, and he's a scrappy kid with solid playmaking abilities/passing vision. I'd keep Krebs on the 3rd/4th line at LW/C any day, especially if Buffalo moves on from Olofsson and eventually Girgensons or Mittelstadt. There's room for both Krebs and the eventual Benson, Savoie, Kulich, etc.
