[Kate Pettersen] Obviously I can’t fall asleep so here’s a little reminder of how Day 2 of the #NHLDraft will shake down for the Canucks (if no moves are made): ROUND 3 I PICK 75 ROUND 3 I PICK 89 ROUND 4 | PICK 105 ROUND 4 | PICK 107 ROUND 4 | PICK 119 ROUND 6 | PICK 171

It will be interesting to see if there is any way to package some combination of their two 3rds and two 4ths to move into the 2nd round or if they are confident that they are able to get some of the players on their list with current picks/trading back for more picks. Honestly I’m just excited to see more players in our prospect pool

Can’t wait to get mad about the Canucks picking some prospect who may never play a game for them over another prospect who may never play a game for them

Pick all D men and I promise to not complain for at least 24 hours.

Not having a 2nd round pick is CRIMINAL! Criminal I tell ya!

Wish we had a Second to pick up Hunter Brzustewicz. Big, powerful RHD that had a breakout O season.

Are there any more Pettersons or Petersens or variation of such in this draft?

Rounds 3 and 4 historically have a chance of NHL career (playing more than 100 pro games) at around 10-15%

People will discount all these picks as worthless, but having so many means the team probably has better than a coin flips chance of more than one of these prospects becoming a piece for the teams future success.

We won’t know who that is for years though…
