Besides the first play, nothing really foolish in Doughty's play. Two on one where you have to play the pass and give the goalie the shot, borderline hold and give aways by his teammates? I think the wild would love to have Doughty on their team.

Despite being a big fan of the kings I absolutely despise Doughty's smug attitude and willingness to talk shit about great players. Kirill is an amazing forward and it warms my heart to see him undress Doughty.
To be fair, Doughty is not the player he once was. He can be made to look foolish routinely at this point. The game has continued to get faster, while he has lost a step.
Kaprizov is a beauty but probably every team has at least one player who could light up Doughty now. That’s a good reason for him to stfu obviously. Especially with his own inflated salary still in effect.
Doughty is cocky and always seems to eat his words.
Doughty is on the back end of a great career of many years in the NHL that was marked by a Norris trophy, Olympic gold medals and a 2 time Stanley Cup champion. He has earned every penny. Krill has some great potential but is no where even remotely close to Doughty at this point. Doing reasonably well in one shortened regular season is a good start but c'mon guys. Again he has some skill and I hope he succeeds but you can't really compare him favorably to Doughty at this point in spite of if Doughty is a jerk or not.
Funny when he was trolling Maroon asking him how long his been in the minors. Maroon has three rings now. 😆

Скажу по секрету, что Кирилл просто хочет выиграть кубок Стенли. Он честно отработал первый сезон. Но, думал о более перспективной команде. Сумма в контракте для него не так важна.
Некрасивую историю с подписанием сделал его агент, который имеет процент от суммы контракта. Кирилл чувствовал себя неловко, он понимал, что его используют. Но, у него нет никакого опыта свободного агента, и он вынужден был довериться Полу Теофаносу. Поэтому Кирилл чувствовал напряженное отношение к себе в команде. И поэтому он был зажат на старте этого сезона.
Теофанос выбил из Миннесоты большие деньги. Кирилл честный парень, и будет работать за двоих, чтобы вернуть уважение болельщиков. И если остался в Миннесоте, то значит поверил в команду. Если команда поверит в него и будет считать не золотым мальчиком, а нормальным парнем, способным трудиться на 101% на благо команды, а не на свой личный рекорд, то все будет хорошо.
