It’s great for Bedard as long as Taylor hall doesn’t act like Taylor hall around him lol. Everything I’ve heard about Taylor hall makes me think he’s the stereotypical meathead jock that still goes around calling everyone the F slur.
Bedard gets 36 G, 70 points in his rookie season and Hall continues to be better than average thanks to the people surrounding him.
I feel like if Chicago goes to get one more veteran player, especially a known leader, to at least shadow with Bedard he'll grow into this game quicker than we can imagine. Look at how well Matthew Knies did around O'Rielly and Tavares in Toronto during the playoffs where Knies was basically "thrown into the lion den with a meat necklace".
This is far from a blockbuster. It's a salary dump. Yes, Hawks win teh trade, but Boston gets money to resign either Bertuzzi OR Orlov. So it's a win win situation.
