  1. This is what i've been trying to tell people. Look at McDavid, hes a menace on the ice, the Kings are trying to stop him as they should, but when you give that much attention to him it opens up other avenues, and boy is Drai an avenue. People just see numbers and stats and go well ya hes not producing, but if you watch the play, the effect it has of taking multiple players to stop one, it gives others opportunity, McDavid is just eating up attention in the ice. (Also hes had lost of great looks so not like he is not right there anyway)

  2. I can name quite a few better than him:

    Vladimir Tarasenko
    Patrick Kane
    Igor Shesterkin
    Adam Fox
    Chris Kreider

That's only one team worth. There are dozens more on the other 30 teams aside from the Oilers who are all far better.

  3. Highest career postseason points per game:
    Wayne Gretzky 1.84
    Leon Draisaitl 1.62
    Mario Lemieux 1.61

  4. Best playoff performer at helping the opposite team yes but someone from the Carolina Hurricanes is the best playoff performer.

  5. Braden point has way better numbers in the play offs. You guys are so stupid wish I got paid to guck.

  6. No disrespect but what I’m seeing out of the Kings play is everyone cover McDavid and leave the goalie open to be scored on. The only reason why the two game were so tight is Edmonton is hurting themselves by taking penalties and being down a man. If Edmonton cleans up their dum penalties this series will be over in 5.

  7. mackinnon, makar and kucherov probably (not counting a guy like crosby or kane who are not in their prime anymore)

  8. Drai is the best playoff performer currently in the NHL, he has a huge PRESENCE, he is so effing strong and so skilled. He's a powerhouse. Easily the 2nd best player on 🌎 .

  9. Yes, easily. And when Woodcroft plays 11 -7 and inserts Draisaitl in the 4th line you get Kostin and Derek Ryan scoring. He makes everyone around him better. Such an elite passer and playmaker.

  10. Well Braden Point currently leads all active players in goals in the playoffs and has 2 Stanley cups to back those up. Draisaitl has been swept out of every playoffs he's ever made

  11. Awful take, yes he puts up crazy points, but you can’t say a guy who has made the conference final ONCE (swept in that series too) is the best playoff performer. Crazy points but the two way game isn’t there.

  12. Draisaitl and Eichel need to switch contracts. He’s playing on a discount deal for the Oilers.

  13. Once he is the man you can call him that. When your number 2 it definitely has a asterisk next to it.

  14. Points/G is a good measure but considering the games played is also a factor. There's a big difference between Drai (40 games), Mackinnon (72) and Kucherov (138) games played.

Drai may be the best but the ability for Kucherov to have the stats he does over 3x more games is phenomenal

  15. When Todd McClelland coached the team he told Leon….."You dont have to settle to being second best"….Off went Draisaitl….Hopefully, the regular season stats (which Leon drove his own line all year) , and the current playoff performance prove and forever lay to rest ,(outside Edmonton that is) that Leon rides Connors coat tails!…He absolutely does not!.

  16. LEON is ONE of the BEST…And with his Team Mate Connor too and ALL the boys…LEON D he did it last Year on One Leg. And but this Year he has TWO Legs…So, that's common sense guys, that LEON D is ONE of the BEST NHL Player so far. Oilers in 5…GO OILER GO 💪🏒
