The Ottawa Senators have had an awful start to the new NHL season but their luck has been even worse. Steve Warne has covered the Ottawa Senators since day one and hasn’t seen anything quite like it – some key injuries and another big COVID-19 outbreak. Steve talks about it today.
Between injuries and COVID protocol, the Sens are only missing Colin White, Clark Bishop, Angus Crookshank…then it was Shane Pinto…and then COVID hit, taking out Connor Brown, Alex Formenton, Matt Murray, Austin Watson, Victor Mete, Nick Holden, Nikita Zaitsev, Dylan Gambrell, and Josh Brown. And then in the LA game, both Artem Zub and Erik Brannstrom got hurt.
Things can only get better…right?

Not writing season off but don’t mind if rebuild takes a bit longer
If this downward trend continues I’d expect that the Price is Wright for this hockey team sooner rather than later
I'd be happy with a .500 season. I think we can make it.
