    Newhook for Colton is a good swap. However their contract situation is the same, only one year left.

    EDIT: the return for TB is only pick 37? What a steal! We traded Newhook for Colton and a First. Masterclass.

    Good depth guy, seems like a good fit on the 3rd line as a possible Compher replacement. 56.1% in the dot last year, so with him and RyJo our face-offs just got a lot better.

    Bolts fan here, ya’ll should be real happy with this trade. He’s got a great shot, hits a lot, and is a easy guy to root for. His contract ask is likely to come in at the mid 3 mil AAV which we just straight up don’t have to give him, he’s well earned it though. I have a feeling he’s gonna get more than the 10 minutes of ice time he got here and explode offensively, and everyone will be wondering why we gave up on him without realizing we didn’t have much of a choice since we couldn’t let him go to arbitration. You guys are going to love him.

    I’ll hold my reservations until I see his AAV, but I like the player. Much better fit for our bottom 6 than Newhook.

    Of the big 4, I know the least about hockey. I’ll admit it… but this seems like a steal? A second rounder for a guy like this?
