  1. Yamamoto was drafted 1st round in Rasmussen Draft Class. Yamamoto has more goals, assists and points than Rasmussen and he was essentially free.
Klim Kostin was 31st overall in 2017, he has potential. Free replacements for Erne and P. Suter.

  2. Yamamoto could be good for us & Kostin is a good depth player most likely will play ahl & get called up when needed.

  3. I have a few Questions

    Does Debrincat come to detroit?

    Where does Yamamoto fit in?

Does Kostin play Nhl or ahl? If he plays ahl he can get called up.

  4. Yzerman is smart not wasting the cap space up. He is building a Stanley Cup wining team that takes time, especially with the mess Ken Holland left us with. Detroit's rebuild is being based around players like Moritz Seider, Lucas Raymond, Marco Kasper, Simon Edvidsson, Nate Danielson, William Wallinder, Axel Sandin Pellikka, Carter Mazur, Cross Hanas, Amadeus Lombardi, Dmitri Buchelnikov, Jonatan Berggren, Elmer Soderblom, Sebastian Cossa, Trey Augustine, Carter Gylander, Albert Johansson, Andrew Gibson, Shia Buium, Alexandre Doucet, Noah Dower Nilsson, Liam Dower Nilsson age group etc..

  5. The way I saw it was that Kostin and Yamamoto will basically replace the Suter’s and Ernie’s that will end up leaving in free agency. Also…I think Kostin and Yamamoto are upgrades. I still think the “big splash” is coming.

  6. I don’t think you can have too many goaltending prospects. Nobody knows which, if any, will develop into solid NHL performers.
