    Let’s all get together and love GAME BREAKER Ryan Donato unconditionally. Also, credit where credit is due to Chris Driedger but his defense did a stellar job clearing the rebounds which seems a little more pronounced than Grubauer has been giving up.

    I’m not sure this Kraken team is good yet. There are a lot of defects still left to clean up in their game but they really do try. That comeback versus Columbus to snag a point and weathering the storm versus San Jose, both examples of a team that’s really trying out there.

    Grubauer definitely does need to get better though and the team needs more top end scoring and Lauzon needs to be more consistent and on and on but this is a lovable team that never gives up on itself and that’s fun to watch even in a loss.

    Also Chris Dreidger with two team assigned “player of the game” honours now leads the team in the important analytical category of Pirate Hats per Game Played as well as leading the team in overall Pirate Hats. Let’s keep building Dreidger’s swagger and maybe give him another opportunity to score that goalie goal he so clearly wants to score.

    I think Grubauer being cast as “The Goalie” and Dreidger as merely “A Goalie” at the start of the season wasn’t good for Dreidger OR Grubauer. I agree with ELA that getting them into more of a 50/50 tandem is really important.
