Iām sad. Wheeler was my favorite jet since the team came back. I loved the way he played. Iāll miss you Wheeler I hope you can win a cup before you retire. I will always cheer for you.
I will never forget my favorite Blake Moments:
1. Instantly dropping the gloves in that lightning game where Brian Little broke his neck and Paul Maurice got ejected, he was the first to throw down gloves and start swinging

I remember when Wheeler was drafted by the Coyotes in the 2004 draft 5th overall, many said that he could be the best player in the draft when it was all said and done. He has had a great career but nobody is arguing that Ovechkin and Malkin were the best from the 04 draft.

He was the biggest reason I fell in love with this team in 2011 after never really caring about hockey. Cheering for him to win a cup even if he ends up in Toronto or Vegas.
