the D will not be helped this year with this draft. They either need to play up to their potential, or Doug needs to pull off a deal that sends one of the bigger contracts off the books. How would you like to see Gudas or Dumba on the D line folks? Gudas was making just 2.5 mil and his beard is tougher then our D line. Don't get me wrong, i'd love to see who we have play better but they are all a year older and those NTC's are weights in moving them out. Binner can't have to shoulder the load. And if our D will not be getting better then we need to score goals…a lot of them. No ROR, no Tarasenko no Barbashev…i dont know that Thomas and company can make up the difference without help. Hayes is ok but don't expect 30 goals or more. my thoughts anyway
