Oshawa Generals forward Calum Ritchie spoke with the press after being selected 27th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2023 NHL Draft.
Former second-overall OHL Priority Selection pick Calum Ritchie is heading to Denver after the Colorado Avalanche selected him 27th overall in Wednesday’s first round. Ritchie, who recorded 59 points in as many games this past season, becomes Oshawa’s first player chosen in the opening round of the NHL Draft since 2014 when Michael Dal Colle went fifth overall to the New York Islanders.
