The defense needs to be addressed in these upcoming trades as well, move guys like Heinola, Schmidt along with those that we are all talking about for a couple right side grit, sandpaper type D-men.

It’s a good trade. Kupari is a career bottom 6 forward so don’t expect much. Iafalo will be a solid deadline trade, probably picks up a 2nd plus. The trade is contingent on Vilardi re signing and staying healthy. If so, great trade

I Loved this trade before Draft Day Bud. We got Gabe Vilardi,Alex Iafallo,Ramus Kupari,and 2024 2nd Round Pick. Can’t wait to see our new acquisition from this trade as today for 2023-24 Regular Season Campaign. Hope we do more As 1 Down 3 or 2 more to go (Wheeler, Scheifele, and Hellebuyck). Dubois had 12 even strength goals, while Vilardi had 17 EV last season. Over both careers Vilardi is a better player 5 on 5

Good luck bro. Vilardi hasn’t had a healthy season since he was 15. He’s hurt his back every single season. He’s also really only 1 year younger than PLD. Iafallo doesn’t perform to his contract and he’s also 30. Kupari hasn’t developed at all and can barely crack an nhl roster. GOOD LUCK BRO
cant wait until we see him play here in LA , hes wanted 2 b a king since he was a kid & gavrikov is a friend, u guys got solid future that will allow u to do what we have been doing the last 3 years & thats play a ton of young legs early & over the entire season iafallo had his best year so far until he got hurt & gabe will be a solid 25-possible over 30 goals but his D needs lots of work, I was surprised with kupari because he will be solid again great long term young guy but just not tough enough for us we needed EXACTLY PERFECTLY LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE TO GET PLD TO FIT OUR STRONG 4 LINE CENTERS NOW TO MATCH VEGAS & EDM, A TRUE DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME & HIMSELF. Great deal for the Jets, coz you can never win with players that want out, as you
need a total team effort to win, with "everybody" buying in. It could be a decent
trade for LA if Dubois increases his point production to 80 0r 90 pts, but if he
doesn't it is an overpay. The other thing is Dubois is a finicky player that will likely
be looking for another trade out of LA in 2-3 years. The guy is trouble IMO.
Next step — trade or buyout Wheeler, as he's the source of the Jets problems, and
then trade Helle. After that find out if Scheifele wants to stay, and if so resign him,
and if not, trade him out as well. Helle is the next big piece to go, and I'm not sure
what you can get for a Goaltender who wants $ 10 mil per year ?
Note – you can win in the NHL with just an above average Goalie, like Vegas did
with Hill this year. All around, I like how Chevy trades and gets out of tight situations.
BTW my moving company just moved one Blake wheeler. Apparently he was sending his person stuff home to Minnesota. Does that mean he's playing this year and retiring after, got bought out this year, or got traded to the wild.
You have to admit, the name Iafallo is a sick name to say. At least, PLD is gone but i wont be surprised that he'll do the same thing in L.A.
Wait till they see how much is taken off their checks, cold winters, nothing to do. They’ll be asking to be traded in a couple years.
Kings fan here. Vilardi hurt all the time. Iaffalo hurt a ton. Kupari in the dog house most of the year. Unlike your terrible franchise, Dubois will NOT be able to be a baby around guys like Kopitar, and Doughty. He wanted out of Columbus, because their bad. He wanted out of Winnipeg, because they have no chance of winning a Cup. To be fair, Vilardi was the one us Kings fans didn't really want to let go, but we need size. Blake knows that the players we let go won't make or break our season, where Dubois has the potential to take us to the next level. We will see.
Honestly I don’t think the canadiens really wanted him anyways. He used Montreal to get more money from L.A. The kings grossly overpaid for him both in terms of player return and contract they gave him
As a Kings fan I say this….. Jets killed it in this trade. Total overpayment for players and PLD contract. So bummed we lost Vilardi and Iafallo !!! Vilardi himself could score more than PLD next season for less than half the price you sign him for.
Well it is not like he has played for a really good organization in his career, his junior teams were better than winny and the blueballs….
