  1. The title shows all the bias, "Dirty Hit" lol Will you put a criminal to be in charge of police station?

  2. This player safety overreach is ruining hockey. They are taking the physicality out of the game by scrutinizing hits like this. No way McDavid intentionally tried to hurt or target his head. Sometimes stuff happens, it's hockey. I'm not even an Oilers fan, but this is BS to get 2 games for.

  3. OILERS FANS CRYING AGAIN RULERS ARE RULES EASY CALL NEXT SEASON MCDAVID WILL ASK FOR A TRADE TO HOCKEY TEAM NOT A EMBARRASSMENT OF A TEAM.

  4. So it was originally a 2 minute Minor? Then it went to a 2 game suspension. That covered some distance lol

  5. Has anyone here ever played hockey? First McDavid tried to pull up and barely touched Leddy who had his head down. Ten years ago any player would have layed into Leddy for having his head down and he probably wouldn't have gotten back up. It was a Terrible call. This era of hockey has become too weak. It's a contact sport let there be contact. Its Played by professional athletes who are grown men. Don't ask them to play like children.

  6. Hahaha Sportsnet is such a joke. Watch Mcdavids "dirty" hit. It was head contact yes. If it was an intentional head hit Leddy would've been concussed for sure, he was in a super vulnerable position. Sportsnet would never use the word dirty if this was one of their golden boys like Matthews or say any other Toronto player.

  7. Wow, unbelievable…. Im shocked, not only because it didnt deserve 2 games, but they did it upon the most skilled player in the league. McDavid went toward the puck, and in 1/100th of a second, he had a choice to collide with Leddy or brace himself. This was in no way malicious or had intent to injure, just an unfortunate outcome. I'm enraged at the NHLs decision.
