I love the half marathon!
Kiplimo has it all, hardest surge, amazing home stretch kick and one of the greatest stamina. It was honestly just walk in the central park for him and one of the most dominating performance as victory of the history.
Am a very proud east African..kiplimo is the crown prince of marathon running…its true..just wait and see

Man I could watch Kiplimoโs stride all day
It's a unique course to see some of the best run with hills in the first 5k, then a big downhill, then a big bridge to a flat section. Seems they knew how to pace it well and the elites stuck to a solid plan. Really fun to watch and run the other day!
Correction: Cheptegei is a 1 time Olympic gold medallist.

I ran this half and it was cold and windy and hilly, but amazing. A truly mental race.
Brilliant runs by all but where are the on-course spectators? If this had been in the 80's there would have been 10 deep crowds at the end….

I like cheptegei's style of running
Itโs also pretty crazy to see the range of Cheptegei. I have to imagine heโs going to try to run the 5k/10k double again this year at worlds, so the fact that heโs able to be even within a minute of Kiplimo in a tactical half marathon like this is super impressive. Kiplimo is an absolute beast also, ridiculous athlete.
