Devin Shore Shootout winner! Edmonton Oilers finish the regular season!

An unlikely hero, some star players resting up, and Koskinen in the pipes to finish the regular season. Regular season games always have some meaning, but this one had a lot less meaning than most. The Edmonton Oilers had already clinched 2nd place and playoff matchup against the LA Kings when the Vancouver Canucks rolled into town.

We saw Archibald and Shore slot in for McDavid and Draisaitl ahead of Monday’s Stanley Cup playoff home opener versus the LA Kings. The Edmonton Oilers defeat the Vancouver Canucks on April 29th to finish the regular season with 49-27-6 and 104 points.

The Heavy Hockey Postgame brought to you each game from one of the Heavy Hockey contributors. The Canucks Oilers postgame is done by Dash and Dirs from the Straight off the Pipe podcast and live stream.
