Sean Monahan has signed a one year extension with the Montreal Canadiens for $1.985 million dollars. This is a perfect contract for the Habs and Monahan. With the Habs Monahan found consistency in his game once again. He has great hockey sense and has elite vision as well. If Monahan can stay healthy this could be a great opportunity for him to play to his full potential. I think he will help the Canadiens to take the next step in their rebuild.
