  1. Excited to see if Jurmo can impress the management for a contract in the future. Wouldn’t mind more depth for RHD to bolster the prospect pool. Also interested on kudryavtsev’s development since he seems like an underrated prospect who’s putting up terrific numbers in the OHL.

What are people’s thoughts on McWard? Dark horse to make the team or AHL bound?

Excited to see Petey try his luck on defence. Should be a great power play guy.

They must really like Max Namestnikov to bring him back for another Development Camp as a walk on.

Alright are there more random invites this year than before, or has the time finally come where I can no longer remember our prospect pool as well?

Can’t believe I’m saying this but the list of defensemen actually looks stronger than the list of forwards.

  7. Cheddaryams

are there any interesting invitees to pay attention to?

Defence is straight fire. Best defensive prospect pool we’ve had for a long time.

At least 4-5 of them have a really solid chance at being NHLers in the next few years.

2-3 of them have potential top 4 upside if developed properly. Those being Willander (duh), Pettersson and Brzustewicz.

Brzustewicz I’m still unsure of (watching highlights, he looks kinda meh), but his numbers were really good in juniors. If he can get over a pt/gp this upcoming year, I’ll be stoked.

Pettersson has looked really good the last year. Was over a pt/gp in the J20, and put up 7 points in the SHL. Outperformed Bichsel, who was a 1st round pick. He’s got really good size, but needs to add a few more pounds if he wants to make it onto the team as a solid shutdown defender. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see him on the team as early as the 24-25 season.

Willander is a no-brainer to fit onto our top 4 one day. He does everything well. There doesn’t seem to be any glaring weakness to his game. Watching highlights, he looks like a Hughes-lite when skating with the puck, but knows his role as a defender. Wouldn’t be surprised if he plays for us next season, once his college season is over. Hoping he has a hell of a season in college so he makes the early jump to the NHL.

Looking forward to seeing how Josh Bloom looks

You see that list? That’s what it looks like when you have some higher end RHD depth. Nice to see. Really excited for Willander, but man, I’m so glad we got Hunter B.

    TOLOPILO!

Dan Riccio gonna Italian the shit out of that

Man, at first glance I recognize maybe 2 names on that forward list….

With todays signing Juulseen, Woo, Rathbone and Hirose are likely all AHL and backup. Hirose has the best chance of being a NHL staple. Unless Myers gets traded.
