  1. DANIEL SPRONG WILL BE A 25 GOAL SCORER IF GIVEN A CHANCE., HATED WHEN WASHINGTON TRADED HIM, IM A CAPS FAN HE WAS MORE THAN OKAY WITH US,
    DETROIT WILL BE HAPPY

  2. He also only played 11 minutes a game. In 60ish games and still got 46 pts. That is overachieving in limited playing time

  3. Sprong can play L-R wing good size strong on his feet hopefully can sink some gials with Larkin ,power play

  4. He has been really solid most of his young career on a per-minute basis. He finally got some good run on a power play unit and put up huge points/minute last year. Great low-risk/medium reward signing.

  5. With the picks and signings so far this year, apparently the strategy has become, building excellence through mediocrity. I'm not saying I don't get it, just the next couple of years are gonna be a real drag..

  6. He's a hockey shot on skates. Having him go to Muh Krakkies after leaving the Caps ameliorated the pain. Losing him to the Red Wings just hurts all over.

  7. Im totally baffled today with the Wings signings , i wouldve rather they let the kids play and save the Cap space for when teams get desperate , aleast we at the Cap floor

  8. Sprong is a good shooter, but sadly not much else. For the Kraken he was fed the puck and was given the Ovechkin treatment during power plays early in the season. Sadly, once Seattle stopped feeding him the puck Ovechkin style he was just a mediocre skater with poor defensive ability. If Detroit is willing to feature and feed him he will have another good season, but if not….

  9. i hate hakstol for this, but he is giving young guys chance. kartye, wright exc exc. Id say meh in long run. Should have keeped him
