    Overall its been a net negative. Anyone thinks otherwise is wrong. There was no way they were going to keep what they had so for a little while itll be bottom ten.

    It'll take time for Treliving to sort out the mess Dubas left this team in. The players that left are replaceable plus this Leafs team barely won 1 round and it's a real weak FA pool..Leaf fans losing their minds over not resigning Schenn, ROR, Accari, etc. need to get a grip

    So we signed Kampf for 2.4 mill a year but couldn’t sign Acciari for 2mill? Acciari in Pittsburgh for 2 mill a year is such a steal.

    This team looks horrible, no D, no legit startging goalie, and very little depth down the middle. Move Nylander and Brodie since Marner, Matthews, and JT all have NMC, and buyout Murray at the next buyout window. This organization is an absolute joke, I can't believe I actually waste my time watching this joke of a franchise.

    After Nylander the Leafs next highest paid forward is David Kampf. Why do these idiots think having approx. 40% of the total cap tied up on 4 players who don't know how to compete can produce a winning formula when it keeps failing.

    Leafs need defensive scoring like he mentioned and size ….also some grit and size along the wings would be nice …current wingers are to small and soft…goaltending should also be looked at some point …

    This is it! They are sticking with the core 4 – WHY? It’s ruining this team! Matthews isn’t worth the 3-4 quality players that could be acquired with his cap hit (or keeping so many players we just lost).

    Shan-a-plan is an EPIC fail.

    I’m 65 saw Leafs last Cup in 1967 as a 9 year old – which I think will be their last Stanley Cup ever. This era so reminds me of the Harold Ballard era. This is pathetic!

    The next two years are retooling years. See how the contracts are handled for the 3 kids. Develop what we have (see if Woll is that goalie) and when JT comes off the books, you get a real coach and a big UFA Dman signing.

    8 mins of BS , worst free agency day in almost a decade. You come out of this day a much worse team than you entered it. Only day one but 90% of the top talent is already gone and we come away with Reaves as the cornerstone of your "new" look. Embarrassing so far.

    All you idiots listen up,
    We can’t give term to guys when we need to potentially give Willy 10 mil and Mathews 14. That’s what they’re worth. ROR wanted term, did the leafs offer that? All the other fringe guys I hoped we’d resign ended up elsewhere with term. We can’t go into next year and realize we need to trade a major piece because we’ve signed too many guys and don’t have enough to give to the guys that sell fuckin jerseys
