I’m kinda glad we got those players since they are good players.
I think Ducks should go one more year of 'trust the process' so we can get one of Celebrini , Demidov , or Eiserman and then in the 2025 season start getting out of the basement teams and begin rising in the standings year after year … Gudas and Killorn are good gap players to get the Ducks to the 2026'ish season when the younger players are ready to go and contribute on a bigger scale
I am happy because this might mean that gibbys not getting traded. And I know he gets a lot of shit because the ducks defense is trash but he is probably one of the best goalies in the NHL his numbers I don’t think anybody else could do those numbers on the ducks.

I was confused as to why everyone is upset and I think I get it. Gudas doesn’t really produce points but he does hits and I take it we should be paying 4m a year for points not hits? Is that right?
Honestly they are both overpays but the ducks have the cap space. The veteran leadership and experience specifically with killorn is invaluable. He’s played more games than any player the last 4-5 years and knows how to win. I like these signings I really hope Verbeek can sign Bertuzzi that’d be a cherry on the top
How do you choose a winger? Is it better if their dominant hand matches their wing?
How do figure out a team’s penalty kill and PP unit? Is there a list I can search for and find?

Florida fan here. You guys will love Gudas, he plays hard and he is such a good presence in the locker room. Ill miss the high fives he gave everyone on the way off the ice 😢
