For 800k and one year this is a no brainer.
With the obvious Trouba connection I am not too concerned about all the locker room issues talk.

And ppl said he would be out of our price range. because of our depth, he will be a top 6 guy. If Lav breaks up the kids line that means he and kakko will be our top 2 RW (otherwise we are looking at another year of playing a 4th liner in the top 6)
Problem (as it kinda has been the past few years) is panarins line. Of all the lines we have, his line has the most turnover because it basically seems like he doesnt really have chem with any guys (and doesnt chase pucks into the corners).
Edit: Pressure is kinda on othmann to be an impact as he will have to play panarins line or take kakkos spot on the kids line.
Our top 9 could have different looks but panarin is gonna have to find a way to work with vinny.
Potential top 9
Kreider-Mika-Kakko.
Bread-Tro-Wheeler.
Laf-Chytil-Othmann.
If othmann doesnt make it, we will have to find another RW. I dont think i can handle another season of jimmy and goody playing anywhere in the top 9 (except in short term injury situations)

Not a fan. Good contract for the talent but Wheeler was a big part of the culture problems in Winnipeg and this group imo already has a culture issue.
