Hmm, a little nervous losing Bjugstad. Oilers need someone who can win in the face off and him doing that has saved their butts a few times. Need something big on line 3 or 4, can’t keep doing this 2 good lines and 2 meh lines. Good video!
You know what, this was a good day. You do what you can. Yes, there will be a price to pay next year but honestly we'll see. Maybe Lavoie plays 4RW and Derek Ryan is our 4C (I mean he's "listed" as a center so…). Devin Shore isn't signed yet either (there was almost no bile when I typed those too, I must not be feeling well).
They really should go after Jonathan toews. He would work out well on the 4th and would be able to slot in anywhere in the lineup if injuries happen. If he wants to come for 1million for 1 year and try and prove himself that he can still play then great add. Then you can give Bouchard a 2 million bridge deal with a couple bonuses, and give McCloud a 1 year 1 million dollar deal with 500k for bonuses. Then you sign Rafael to a 900k 1 year deal. 4.9 million dollars and you have 1.3 million left on cap space. Toews would also be that Duncan Keith leader that they had 2 years ago.
Really Bjugstad rather sign with the fricken Coyotes than go back to a major contender like the Oilers? He was really after money that’s it! Oh well his loss.
Oilers fan all my life, but tired, sick of it. Seems like a Canadian team is not allowed to win a stanley cup anyways. Less merchandise sells for the US if one does.
Just get Bouch and cLeoder done, and leave room to accumulate cap space for the trade deadline, where you can trade for needs identified during the season.

Drake is a great signing and a cheap replacement for Yamo
Sucks no bjugstad or kostin back next year.
Still need more sandpaper.
McLeod in 3c doesn't fit right with me. Definitely 4c but come playoffs I'd like to see a lil more skilled 3c
Brown signing is mid, if he hits his games played then that takes away 3.2 mil of capspace next summer, rest of the signings are ok
Holland mentioned that bringing back Yamamoto is a option and he's reached out to his agent

Bjugs was a great addition to the squad, hate to see him go.
How about Aven Bouchard the Oilers need him
size size size

Lets be frank, my mom could get 30 gpals playing with Mcdavid
Considering Klim was a scorer and a fairly physical player, its a big loss.
I dont think we have gotten better this offseason. But its really all about trade deadline
Klim gone is big loss. Hopefully CB is the boost this team needs to go to the final. Other signings for depth are ok.
Holland should have been fired for letting kostin go now they lose more grit

Same crap as last year and the year before. Darnell Nurse is one of the worst contracts ever.

the way you've been talking about Connor Brown for weeks is like he's going to single handedly save the franchise..
Does anyone know what Brown’s bonus set up is?
