Too little in my opinion. Should have been 4-5 game suspension seeing how hard he body slammed petterson intentionally putting stick between legs. Still i guess 2 is better than none. Still the NHL should focus on improving their player safety system to make sure a player is safe so one doesnt have to worry about getting a fucking concussion by a stupid dumb-minded player.
I think 2 is relatively fair, but I would've preferred around 4-5 games. What baffles me are all the uneducated "fans" defending Matheson and claiming it's Elias' fault for being too small.
Someone in another video tossed around the idea of a player who inflicts injury on another player on a “non-hockey play” should serve the suspension for the duration that player is injured. I don’t know how well that really works out, but what are your thoughts? Regarding the suspension, I think it is fair. I hate saying this, but when they play in January, Travis Green isn’t outright saying it, but we all know Matheson is gonna have a target on his back.
Now Parros is suspending players for pushing ? This game is going down hill much like the NFL.. why not just ban checking already, it’s going to happen anyways .
I think the nhl got it right, he’s not a repeat offender or really a dirty player but he did go out of his way to hurt Pettersson and it was malicious. I want more but that’s only for my strong dislike for him now. I still would have like to see Gudbranson punch the lights out of him and Roussel run one of their best players on the night. The suspension is nice and we’ll get even more justice in the next game in Vancouver !

I don't think it's fair at all, I mean concussion is a brain injury, lets hope Pettersson didn't lose something that made him good at hockey eh

And I think he used the stick to make sure pettersson didn’t get away during the hit. The choke slam was just unnecessary
