The Boston Bruins have resigned forward Danton Heinen to a two year 2.8 million dollar contract.

I feel the Bruins will do with Backes what Toronto did with Marleau..send him and maybe Heinen to a team willing to take on the contract???
like Heinen but he doesn't deserve ANY pay raise.he's gone down form 16 goals to 11 goals.a player who can't even score 20 goals which is mediocrity.america is about paying for merit, not mediocrity.now this is a country all about propping up mediocrity!we don't have enough to sign Carlo and McAvoy!awful!!!
Danton has stone cold hands can't score with a beachball. Donny should trade him high which is probably now.

If we can do Bridge contracts for both of those guys that would be ideal.. Because in two years we have several large contracts coming off the books in two years, Backes, Krejci, and Rask. And after this year we have almost two mil coming off from Belesky and 1 mil coming off from Seidenberg… plus the salary cap potentially going up… That’s a lot of space. So the Bruins cap crunch won’t last very long. Basically just this year and next.
