  1. Oilers are going to sink the leafs are the best team going in yes come get him Holland should have been fired did you look at what Brad is doing the leafs what how are they a in for the cup the leafs have the best team going

  2. Holland should've given Bouchard the extension after Keith retired last year. Bad decisions and management on building the future of the team. Bouchard does have the potential to be the top pair defenseman in the future, but he is not at that stage yet. I Hope Seattle thinks about what happened between Montreal and Carolina. It is a small world in NHL.

  3. If Bouchard walked to Seattle via an offer sheet, you gotta wonder if maybe that opens up an opportunity for an EK65 trade? You could get San Jose to retain 33%, then trade those picks you acquired by the offer sheet compensation to a team like Chicago and get them to retain 33%. It would be a little tricky, but definitely not out of the realm of possibilities.

  4. The Oilers can match any offer, they would just have to move Ceci, foegele and Kulak

  5. Not sure this will happen but if does I expect Oilers to make Kraken pay in the future in ways we can’t imagine.

  6. When was the last offer sheet ever done??? I think it’s an unwritten rule among GMs not to do offer sheets.

  7. sTOP WITH THE FEAR PORN bOUCHARD IS NOT LEAVING THE TEAM AND THE pp YOUR'RE BECOMING A JOKE LOOKING FOR CLICKS JUST STOP

  8. Considering Larsson already walked away to them, what a huge krack-in the nuts that would be!

  9. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush . If youre killing it and getting along with the guys. Why not re-sign

  10. Agreed. If Bouchard skates away maybe a Karlsson trade would somehow miraculously work. Other than that, let's not give Seattle, or any other team, any ideas even though they probably already have them.

  11. I look at it from the other side, getting a first round pick and using that to get a Brett Pesce or big Center man? Based on our goaltending a solid top D man would help stable the back end? To be able trade with a first round pick in your pocket is step ahead instead of always trading from behind?

  12. Ironically I think waiting and offering next year is the best plan if you are the Kraken. Then they’ll have more cap space and if Bouch does well again they’ll also feel confident going all in at $7-8×8 years. More money but way more certainty too for the Kraken and Edmonton would still likely not be able to do much about it either.
