Just looking at the west next year, I think it’s likely that the Blackhawks make the playoffs, and it’s a possibility the hawks play the oilers in the first round
We still want to get a top 5 pick next draft, and hopefully the draft after that. We need to be at least the 5th worst team in the league. We aren't looking for an upgrade, far from it. We're going to get rid of them next year lol

Okay, if you genuinely follow hockey and create hockey content do you honestly think the hawks are trying to win the cup or even make the playoffs next season..? They are getting picks and taking older guys salaries gaining another second round pick and adding some proven veterans. Gotta reach the salary cap floor. I get that it’s easy to hate the Blackhawks because they were dominant then didn’t suck long enough for people to stop hating but you can’t honestly tell me that this was an unbiased review. Hate them all you want, they’re in a HUGE market that will sell out every game and big name players are going to want to come to Chicago. Unlike other teams with more established young stars, the hawks are 100% rebuilding around Bedard. I’ve never seen the city this hyped over a draft pick. In 2005ish they were voted the worst professional franchise out of all the big North American sports. They went on to win 3 cups over the next 10 years after drafting Kane and Toews. People seem to forget about the talent they found in the middle and late rounds of the draft. They have tons of picks next year, they have Korchinski and Frank Nazar coming up.. they have 2 top 10/15 goalie prospects and after this draft have the #1 ranked prospect pool in the league. So no, they obviously aren’t signing 37 year olds for the future. They’re building through the draft and I’d say they’re doing a pretty amazing job. Compare the roster now to the roster at the end of the season and they are LEAGUES better than before. They went from having a bottom 5 prospect pool to top 3. So explain to me why you’re complaining again..? They just drafted the best player since McDavid. Either do more research or include the prospects that are obviously the future of the team. This is all about placeholders and giving the kid some room on the ice. The team seems to be on a 3-5 year rebuild. When JT and Kane came to the Hawks they had a D core in place and players like Havlat, Sharp, Ladd, Bolland, Buff, Versteeg. They exchanged Havlat for Hossa and all of a sudden, everyone was moved down a line becasue JT and Kane took over. This roster has a LOT of work to do. You cannot build a team to make the playoffs, you must build it to win the cup.

Great video but the line up card is totally wrong Boris Katchouk, and Joey Anderson are probably not going to play they will see time in the ahl, Lukas Reichel will finally play his first full NHL season. So I don't know what you are on but the hawks are going to bad but not as bad as you think they are going to be.
Come on now I would think you might know something about Hockey. Think Salary cap here. The Hawks are well below the Salary Cap threshold. They had to spend a lot of money on short term contracts to get above it in order to wheel and deal next year. Spending some $$ for Hall and Perry to move the Puck forward is not a bad move when you had to spend a lot of money anyways.
