Datsyuk – 779 gp, 255 g, 512 a, 767 pts
Look how much LESS games Crosby has played than Datsyuk yet their numbers are almost identical, Crosby is the Gretzky of this era.
Look at the above numbers, Datsyuk has played over 300 more games than Crosby yet his numbers are near identical to Crosby, bla bla bla, wa, wa, wa, you sound like yet another butt hurt American still crying over the Golden Goal, look at the stats RIGHT NOW, Crosby is leading the league, he's the best bitch, deal with it.
Because its typical of Americans to trash Crosby, why? because they have no real superstar of their own and they hate to love the man who single handily stuck a dagger through their countries dreams at the olympics, so they hop on Datsyuk because he's the next best thing. Hilarious really, Crosby is the best, the numbers prove it, deal with it kid.
I agree that he currently is the best player in the league. I think people talk alot of shit because he plays like a bitch. If he just quit with the whining/diving I think people would respect him alot more, and give him the credit he actually deserves. The only skill he lacks is physical play and staying healthy(yes staying healthy is a skill). Hopefully (Colorado fan here) Mackinnon will be the best in a couple of years 😉
Crosby can score, and has some hands. He is the best hockey player in the world okay? Nobody cares about the Golden Goal anymore because that was years ago and the olympics are back on. Datsyuk just has more talent in general is all im saying. He's getting old.
Datsyuk is a better all round type player than crosby and he does have more skill. Yes he has better ppg than datsyuk. But who cares? When datsyuk is healthy he is esily capable of putting up 85 plus points. Datsyuk can do it all

MacKinnon should be used on the PP consistently as he can get confidence going on goals and assists. He wasn't getting PP time in the first 4 games.
They want to work him in slowly im sure he will get pp time as the season goes on.
