I think we WERE interested, but I believe the talks have died down now.
If I had to guess, Barry is content with the holes he’s filled on the roster and is going to let the kids get a chance at big time too 6 roster spots.
I don’t like it. Pushes Novak/Glass/Parsinnen to 3/4 C roles
Given that Barry is clearly trying to improve the leadership and work ethic of the veterans on the team, this move doesn’t make sense at all. Kuznetsov has a reputation for disappearing on the ice for months and also has had allegations of off-ice issues. The Capitals have included him in trade rumors for years because of these exact issues.
Do we have enough cocaine here for him?
I don’t think he’s done cooking, but I don’t think it’s Kuznetsov. I think he’s looking for a winger.
