  1. I agree with you on all of these. If I could add another best and worst, I would add Wheeler as a best and add the Engvall 7 year deal as the worst haha

  2. people forget that even with those signings ghe red wings have over 9 million dollars in cap space

  3. Jo Jo Drouin at Avs for 1 year at only $$ 825 000 ! Lets hope Mc Kinnon can send some encouragement his way—- his time with Habs was 100 % disastrous!! and as a # 3 overall }}] behind Mc K and Barkov he s never had success like them!

  4. Justin hill is the worst defencemen in the nhl he was on for 73% of goals in the playoffs and holl and ghost on the same line is gonna be a -100 line lol

  5. reaves is a fraud. he didnt protect perron or kaprisov.. i know he is black so everyone wants to grovel to him .. but he is a fraud

  6. As a Bruins fan, I hate Miles Wood. That said, I do think he was under utilized by Lindy Ruff. He's capable of putting up more than 20 goals in a season, and for that price? Colorado got a steak in that guy.

  7. Gonna miss Sprong in Seattle.
Just so the Detroit fans know though, he's got no Defense in him.

  8. Miles Wood is one of the fastest skaters in the league. When he’s on the ice he forces turnovers, creates a lot of pressure, and wins puck battles. He allows plays to develop. He could easily plug in with a 2nd or 3rd line and become an opportunity generator for the goal scorers. He’s also a big tough forward who can drop the gloves when needed. I’m surprised he got a 6yr deal, I’m assuming that is the only reason he left NJ, but he’s a solid player and a good grab for Colorado. We’ll miss him on the devils.

  9. I love how everyone thinks they are smarter than Stevey Y. It's not like the man has any experience building a winning team.

  10. I think Yzerman is starting to lose it! Underwhelmed with his free agent signings. Even with the draft – the team needs forwards and he goes heavy on D.

  11. The Canucks had a sneaky solid free agency. Buying out OEL helped free up some cap space.
It didn’t leave Allvin with much to work with, but he made some quality small yet smart signings.
Most notably Carson Soucy at 3x$3.25M, Ian Cole and Teddy Blueger both on 1 year contracts, $3M and $1.9M respectively.
While it may not be much, the defense has still beefed up a bit. Blueger just won the Cup and provides good bottom 6 depth. Management is in a hard spot yet are navigating well with the resources they have. Difficult to criticize these signings.
Also, it is worth mentioning Akito Hirose at 2x$787K. This is a player that will surprise a lot of people.

  12. Matt Duchene last season 56 points, 3mil, best UFA ever
Blake Wheeler last season 55 points 800k cap hit ….Who? terrible, not worth mentioning.

  13. I will hold off on condemning Holl until he plays a few games. A change of scenery, and getting out of the toxic hockey market of Toronto can do him wonders, as Leafs players generally play a lot better once leaving Toronto

  14. I think the 2021-2022 for Korpi was destroyed by playing with a major injury (hip IIRC). If he stays healthy (if), Sens should be on.

  15. Stevie and the Wings low-key did well PERIOD!.. don't GAF what anyone has to say!.. if you can't see it you don't know ish about hockey analytics..

A lot of y'all goofy azzes are standing too close to the art.. stand your bigheaded asses back to see the full picture.. 🙄😅

  16. You missed Shayne Gostisphere to the Wings…1 year @ 4mil
The guy is at worst a 2nd line D man and can really be a clutch player.
    Red Wings best sofar

  17. Killorn is a really good signings Your crazy worst. Killorn has had his best 4 seasons . Great pro hardest working guy stays in phenomenal shape. Kills penalties, excellent pp guy .

  18. Duchene just wants to listen to country music all year. Hands down why he signed in Big D

  19. Corey Perry signing in Chicago is easily the WORST FA signing.
Its not even close. That contract is steaming garbage.
Another brutal deal is Ryan Graves getting 6 years at almost 5 mil per. That is too much, for too long, for man who is slow , doesnt check anyone, and is a fringe top 4 defenseman.
