They need another top pairing d- man our is subpar
Samberg is Dillon expect makes 2 million less. Pionk and Schmidt can both hit the bricks. Pionk is proof that just because you play 20 minutes a night it doesn’t make you a second pair dman.
What about Brad Lambert?
Harrison, the first half of the season last year the jets were riddled with injuries and had a lot of moose players as fill-ins. Those players bought into Bones' defensive system and they got to #1 in the conference. Then, the lazy play of Scheifle, Wheeler (because he's old), and Dubois (uninterested) came back and infected the whole team. There is every reason to believe that the newer guys, (nino, vlad, + the guys they just got from kings), can buy into bones' system and do very well. Now that they got rid of old man wheeler, they just need to get rid of scheifle (who can't follow orders) and jets will be in decent shape. Plus they have a solid backup now to give Helly a break, and got rid of no save dave.
Doesn’t matter what we think. Chevy has already gone to the cottage. He has already had to work way to much for his liking.
Nothing more will happen.
He will walk both Scheiff and Helly into free agency. Worst part is he will be back next year waiting for the jets to “evolve” 6:37 pm
Tbf though last year appleton was sick like 70% of it. I think appleton Lowry and barron was our best like for like 2.5 months.
Man it’s annoying that people don’t seem to get that Winnipeg can’t simply cut their loses and trade a player who didn’t live up to their expectations. It’s not LA here it’s Not Vegas. it’s Winnipeg, no one’s dream place to live. All we can hope for is our players to develop into something bigger year by year
Do you think theres a chance Lambert or Lucius join the team this year? from what i remember of last years trainig camp Lambert got a really hard look
