Np my dude.
I laughed so hard when you disagreed with my comment last week on the team full of mercenaries . I’ll admit it was pretty exaggerated. I know we have to trade some of our young talent. There isn’t cap space or roster space for everyone.
To give a serious point it’s the term and type of player. Fiala and PLD specifically are locked up long term at high value. I felt we could have made better use of our assets. That being said I would love to be wrong. I love my Kings.
Also being a sports radio junkie for 20 years and hearing you give the 60-90 second briefs as a teen on FSR it makes this podcast awesome. I enjoy listening to you even when we disagree.
Still don’t know why we signed Talbot cause he’s horrible!
I really like the Lewis signing for the fourth line and PK duties. And I am warming up on the Talbot signing. His ties to McClellan style and the drive to win are selling points. We just need a bit above average at goalie and we will make it up everywhere else. Trust that Blake is learning and the scout team knows what they are getting. Go Kings Go.

I cant remember that last time the Kings really spent alot on a goalie. Quick was only at 5.8 which for a 2 time cup winner and a comn smythe winner wasn't bad at the time.

I like the addition of Dubois but I'm not thrilled of moving four roster players to get one. I understand the cap issues played a role, and the jets wanted a decent return. I'm not thrilled with the goalie situation either. For the last 10 years kings had such goalies as jones, bernier, quick, kuemper, and even Campbell. Now with the roster build to compete with the likes of Vegas, oilers, avs, and others, kings have Talbott and Copley. Hope kings team def and penalty killing will vastly improve because Blake might be searching for another goalie sooner than later.
I hate not hearing any Ontario players developed to be a top 3 line player.
I think most of these moves make sense…but i do think Blake needs to answer for under-developing what was once considered the strongest farm system in the league. …..will his counterpoint be "I used half that farm system to get PLD"?
