LA Kings GM Rob Blake’s big deal with Winnipeg Jets to get Pierre-Luc Dubois



The Los Angeles Kings acquire Pierre-Luc Dubois in a 4-for-1 deal with the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets receive Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari, and a 2024 second-round pick.

  1. Gutsy call & expensive/over-paid. PLD has had questionable character – the selfish guys that 'hold out & all that' are often not worth it … but it could work. If Kings goalie is good – they should be strong. Kempe is great/under-rated

  2. I hope the Kings didn't give up their future with this trade. All 3 Kings that went to the Jets are young, good developing players. Yes, this does make the Kings strong up the middle. I hope the wings on the top 3 lines for the Kings are up to the level of play that the centers can bring. As anyone who has played the game knows, chemistry is everything. (look no further than the Triple Crown line for proof)
