  1. I just don't get it. Not only does it seem like a lateral move, Cam really wanted to be in Columbus. He's a leader on the team and I saw him as someone to lead CBJ through the rebuild.

  2. I hate this trade as a cbj fan. first, we trade a fan favorite, second, we could've gotten more value

  3. I’m a jackets fan and i think this can be good for the team but it sucks to see a guy who loved it here be traded

  4. I think voracek is more skilled than Atkinson and that is what Columbus is looking for and considering he is a pure playmaker he wouldn’t be a bad fit on the pp with laine.

  5. Even tho cam was great for the room in Columbus, but he hasn’t been great lately. Voracek is the better player rn

  6. It seems that CBJ is gonna be quite different than last season. I wonder what they are gonna do with Justin Danford…?

  7. Jake does nothing except assists. He cant score he's terrible two way player and on special teams plus he makes 3 mil more

  8. im a flyer fan. im ok with this move.
I'm sure their moves won't work out. The Flyers are a horrible organization. Nothin they attempt works.

However, I'm not upset with losing Voracheck. He's a soft player. you can't win with him as one of your top players

  9. In the abstract, swapping Cam for Voracek is adding more playmakers to play with Bjorkstrand and Laine. I like Voracek, but it sucks to lose Cam.

  10. When Voracek is motivated he's a GREAT player. That happens 1 night a month, seriously. I watched every game. Once a month. Maybe he'll give the BJ's a good season, maybe he got the message. I'll take Atkinson. Less talent but plays with much more consistency ( heart) .

  11. Tbh I’m confused by this clear indication of a full on rebuild. It doesn’t make sense to bring back liane now because no way he’s going to resign with a full on rebuilding team

  12. i think CBJ took on voracek to trade him with retained salary and get a decnt amount of assets good point producer

  13. Flyers get a bit more, defensive, good PK, and goal scoring player for a more skilled puck moving forward with a a high cap hit. As a flyers fan it works well for us as we get some cap and fill a hole on the 3rd line wing and it is also nice to see laine get some help, Voracek will realy help him out a lot so Columbus fans have a lot to be happy about

  14. I agree with a lot of comments love what we’re getting be sucks to loose Cam I guy that wanted to play here

  15. great for Flyers. A hustle player for a guy you would never use on the PK and who in general was not a two way hockey player. Jake is fine if guys cover defensively for him, but Flyers had too many one-way forwards such as JVR and Konecny, in addition to Voracek. Fletcher knew they needed to tighten up team defense and he's done an amazing job this off-season.

  16. What can I say? It's sad to see Atkinson go. He's been one of the team's best players but I remember Voracek being a great player too. It'd be great to have him back. I just hope he'll have at least as much chemistry with the rest of the team as he did with the Jackets before.
