Depending on what happens with Jaylen Brown's extension, Dallas could trade R Bullock for Robert Williams.
The Mavs need wings more than they need centers. Reggie Bullock is their only wing on the roster thatās not a rookie.

Dallas is doing a good job so far just let them continue doing what theyāre doing. In order to be a good-defensive and offensive team everyone has to do their job and no their role. You guys sit up here and talk about all these different trade scenarios but not realizing it doesnāt matter what center or SF they get heās not going to change the complexity of their defense itās a team effort, everyone has to buy in, look at Miami as an example, no one-man team effort and you see how far that got them. thatās the mindset you have to have Denver, the same way team effort Championship, bottom line. if you want to be a great all-around team

#1 priority, trade: Wendell Carter Jr. for e.g. Holmes, '27 first and a future second. #2 priority, sign PJ Washington. #3 priority, trade: THJ + McGee + Wood sign&trade (app. 14mil) for Tobias Harris. Harris contract is only one year. Harris is at least as useful as THJ and McGee is not playing anyway. Next season, all of that some 24 million is off your books.

I wouldnāt trade Green because weāve seen in the playoffs how important it is to have a wing defender who can shoot. Cuban and the Mavs have been really impatient for a long time and it hasnāt helped so why not keep the young talent and develop it?
The problem with waiting is that the mavs competition is taking away all of the other options. The available players are falling fast. If mavs don't get their player, they'll be settling for the leftovers. This happens every year.
I like the Allen trade quite a bit, but a Zubac move makes more sense. Zubac has two years left at about 11 million a season. The Mavs can likely get him without including Green in a deal, and two years should be about the right time frame to get Lively ready. Plus, 11 million per year for Zubac doesn't require a gutting of your depth.
