As an East Coaster I always root for Newfie NHL players and Mercer might be the best they've ever had! Also the Devils are gonna be a Force for Years to come in the East

Mercer is so good. And he’s getting 3rd line minutes. Imagine him playing on a line with Jack or Nico as a center. It’s a good time to be a devils fan.

Mercer is still very young and he definitely flashed. nobody expected him to make the roster last year and he hasn’t missed a game since. he’s very reliable for us in both ways. we needed this game to show that we can beat carolina who’s had our number. and it shows how we don’t give up either
