i’m excited for Sykora too. Seems like a perfect 3rd/4th line guy down the line.
Thought the kid showed enough last year's pre-season to make the team. But now that the Rangers have over 12 waiver required vet forwards signed. So his preseason play this September will again be only for show. Sure wish the Rangers handled Lafreniere this way. Even Kakko to some extent. Cuylle (again) will have to wallow in Hartford as well. Seems with all these vet signings, only chance for a cup of joe will be when the season is a loss. Hopefully Jones and Robertson can give them good advice on patience. Curious to see if Sykora sticks it out. Going back to Europe seems to be the thing to do for those youngsters who come from there these days. Which isn't good. Dibs on Motte for Pitlick and another future draft player. This trade deadline.
