Typically, nine-game winning streaks garner a lot of attention. That’s why it’s time to give the New York Islanders more respect.

Let’s Go Islanders!
Sad the Islanders can't sell out their arenas. They are a very good team and not nearly as expensive as their neighbours home games
What does their arena issue have to do with their 10 game winning streak, which is what led off the conversation? This guy just prattles on about the arena as if it is hurting them and impact their on-ice play and that's not true.
Give us our respect people
ken is the only smart person here. matt looks like a pizza
What is the guy on the right rambling about, give the team their credit
Boston Herald.com writer just posted her NHL power rankings and put the Islanders at 13th place. She must have her head so far up her rear end that she watches the games thru her belly button…
Dude our fan base is electric and more dedicated to the isles than any other team has,
13-0-1 in our last 14, with a huge comeback win last night against philly. Something special brewin
Islanders TV/print and news media is controlled by their close in rival. They get pigeonholed as a Nassau County team which means that they only market to like 15% of their region. They have almost no casual fans, everyone is somewhat hardcore. They need to change up their marketing focus but the rival that controls their media will not let them.
He’s bad at math. 1500 empty seats..
