Now that the BCHL has left Hockey Canada, I wonder what the rules would be for the Canucks to have close ties to a BCHL team is.
Theoretically it could open up a lot of opportunities for them. Like could they basically use it as a second farm team for junior age kids? It feels like you could easily exploit this to get an advantage in both developing and recruiting talent. You would get around the NHL/AHL agreement and the ELC rules plus be able to have a far closer hand in development

Donnie and Dhali were talking about this being mostly a real estate deal and they were trying to buy the arena

They are going to keep buying teams that are one town to the east until they go around the entire world. At least that’s my Hope and I discovered this pattern on my own Meritt.
