I also would like a stat for defensive clears on the penalty kill. PK works hard to get that puck out, should be a stat with that
Love Fox, but not sure he was the best D in the league this year.
If they had two d man awards (one offensively, one defensively) then Fox wouldn’t have won either. Karlsson would win the first, and guys like Pelech, Pesche, Carlo, Tanev would have won the other. Just saying.
I wouldn't say he was Snubbed on Norris. I love Fox, but, I had to go with Erik Karlsson, since they don't separate Offensive Defensemen with All Around Defensemen
It's hard to argue with Karlsson getting over 100 Points.
Having said these, I do agree that if The Norris Trophy is for The Best All Around Defense, it Logically Points to Adam Fox
If You use That Logic, Sorokin should've gotten Vezina this year rather than Ullmark.
Fox isn't that good of a defensemen . Slow ,weak .But joins the rush and great on PP

By the wording of the trophy then yes Fox or Makar would’ve been the deserving winner but considering what Karlsson did as a quote unquote “defenseman” i can understand why he won
Adam Fox was a finalist, so he didn't get snubbed. Who did? Well, Morrissey, Lindholm, and Heiskanen come to mind. One of those guys should've been a finalist instead of Makar.
They don't need two different awards for D-men. Just vote the Norris the way it's meant to be.

Please bring back Gaut. Like you said before, we’ve witnessed his floor which is a reasonably solid 4th liner but we’ve never gotten to see his ceiling. Given what he’s gonna get paid that’s a nice cheap 4th liner contract and who knows what he may do this year?

If Karlsson was worthy of the Norris, on a bad team he should be at least neutral in plus minus, not a minus 26.
100%. Makar won last year because, according to the salty Canadian voters (who were already mad at fox) said Josi didn't deserve it because it's more than just offense. Now this? Come on. What a joke.
