The Klingberg signing was horrendous. The guy is awful defensively (like you have to keep him sheltered). I also don't think he can surpass Rielly for pp1. They needed to keep Schenn, or bring in another big, rugged defenseman who can hit, kill penalties, etc.
It's way too early to ask this question. Wait until all contracts fit under the salary cap.

I'm an Avsfan and we have Kurtis MacDermid for an enforcer. Certainly not really there for the play. So I can't really complain at Toronto for getting tougher at free agency. You just can't be pushed around as a team with all the talent and if that other team notices it, you are taken advantage of usually.

Dubas knew how to make a pretty team. He's very idealistic and maybe what the future might look like, but definitely not working in today's NHL.
