Ken Holland was really clear that it depends on discussions with AIK. If they say they want him for top pair, they can have him. Anything less and he wants Broberg in the CHL playing 25 minutes every second night.
Swedish leagues do not use NHL ice, btw.

Staples suggested Benson could play with McDavid and either Nuge or Drai, in the role of "you go dig the puck out of the corner and we'll just wait for your nice saucer passes." That could let Kassian go to the second line, which still leaves just about as many question marks…
The future does look good with the D prospects, adequate with the forward prospects (97+29 raises the average of any team, and with better puck movement from the blue, secondary scoring should pick up.), and nobody knows about goalies, but you figure at least one of the 6 turns out.
But yeah, unless Holland gets us, say, Matt Murray, Patrick Laine, and Jordan Eberle, in trades I don't think we see cupness for a bit.
