http://www.GopherSports.com The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers took on the Eagles from Boston College on Friday Night at Mariucci Arena.

The Gophers took an early 2-0 lead on goals from Hudson Fasching and Travis Boyd. After the Eagles had 3 unanswered goals, the Gophers tied it up in the 3rd on a Taylor Cammarata goal. After an overtime period, the Gophers fell to the Eagles in a shootout, despite a goal from captain Kyle Rau.

The Gophers take on Boston College again this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Mariucci Arena
