I'm loving Suzuki as our captain and have high hopes for the team over the next few years.
As far as him learning French, growing up in Ontario he would have had to take French in school for around 8 years so he at least has some base to start from. That said, it's great that he's taking French classes and really embracing the role
That young man is mature for his age , more so he loves being numero uno for his teamates and the franchise , he wears the c proudly and proves it without flinching

A guy once asked me what the C stands for on our jersey, I said class. All our guys that were captains exemplify that, and Nick will carry on that tradition for sure.

Never been an Habs fan until this last season. Maybe because I was from Quebec City, but still I never get the chance to see the Nordiques, so that's not the first reason. I never enjoy the overall picture of the team for the last two decades, never like the cult about their goalies and the vision GM has for the team. But this season it was so satisfying to see all the young and new added player playing hard with conviction. Suzuki is for sure a center pieces of this new identity for the Canadiens, and even if his behavior is not flamboyant I like the leadership and the calm of this guy. Also, I was more than happy when I learn he's taking french class, he likes Montreal and he got a lot respect for the fans for doing that, and now other players do the same. So I'm really confident for the next few years, when you see other talented players added to the lines and be inspire by the ethic and attitude of Suzuki.
By the way, really like your channel, short and sweet video to get updates about the NHL with the right tone. 👌
When all is said and done Suzuki will be known as one of the best nhl leaders of our generation.

This video sucks habs because suck last 30 years so who cares about blah blah blah BS. Suziki has won nothing habs have won nothing, they have only been a failure on and off the ice and they are still far away. I also put a curse on them after the expos were abandoned and left to the curb to be taken by vultures so as long as I am alive I will believe in the evil spell I have cast on them. I now revel in the perennial failures and the recent draft was hopefully the latest example of the ill fortunes I wish upon them. Buwuhuhahaha You will suffer habs and fans forevermore!!!!

No one "decent" judges someone when they are trying to speak a different language. No one I know does this, but if they did, they would get a lot of disapproving looks. The people who do are not a good example.
