Been watching in the background but his defense / puck battling has been exceptionally noticeable
Love that he does the Jeff Skinner “open hips, make the defender guess which direction you’re moving in” thing
Wow!! He’s not playing against scrubs either! Many of these guys will be in the NHL/AHL. Absolutely dominant
He’s fucking relentless
And his hips are *so fluid*
He reminds me of what I was looking at in the prospects tournament when we first acquired Tage. Tage just looked like he was on a different level compared to everyone else. Like the game was boring almost.
Circular motion fluid skating like Skinner, head up entire time, passes like Krebs, shifty and relentless like Marchand, and uses his body like Eichel (the lacrosse defender move) to gain space
