  1. Great Performance by Oettinger. BUT if you take away these (2 worst calls I’ve ever seen) then it would’ve been 2-1 MIN

  2. I can't help but imagine Mickey Redmond or Grapes would say, You take a run at me, you're getting a Louisville sandwich

  3. EXACTLY LIKE HOLY MOLEY! And the thing is it's not just on Moose either, it's league wide. They don't call the blatant fouls but will then call a makeup call that isn't a call at all. And I am not just saying this as a Wild fan either, but like Holy Moley. And this sours and takes away what was an otherwise great game on both sides. Cause now Oettinger isn't the focal point of a great game, it's officiating. Not saying the game would've been different, but it just creates a bad look and all that.

  4. As a wild fan, if the officials change the course and don’t allow the Wild to play physical, advantage Dallas. The Wild want wear down the skilled Dallas forwards and after letting the play go for 3 games, now they start calling ticky tac hits. They stuffed the whistle in the first period,(3) missed calls and ramp it up in P2. There were a few brutal calls on Dallas as well, just be consistent. Any odd man situation is a Stars advantage. If Oettinger plays like this and 97/12 don’t start producing, it’ll be done in six. Wild may be lucky being 2-2 without scoring from these two. It’s going to come down to some puck luck with these goalies, hoping the Wild finally crack the code for once , fans deserve a series win..

  5. the refs more than made up for the bad calls against wild with more bad calls against the stars so it evens out in the end.

  6. I'm a Leafs fan, and I agree that every call in this game (which I couldn't watch) were crap. I don't agree that the makeup calls even this out, because the bias across this league is ridiculous, which has made officiating a joke. I initially thought the Wild would win in 4, but yeah – this one's going to 7 too.

  7. Dude, there have been absolute garbage calls and blatant missed calls in this series on both sides. Also, Minnesota have done nothing but go out and try to hurt guys, no respect for that. Being aggressive is part of the game, but intentionally trying to hurt people is not cool and that is exactly what the Wild are trying to do.

  8. I could see maybe charging for the first, 5 strides, no glide, maybe a charging. But interference is a large stretch.
Second one, if he doesn't lift that back foot, he's fine, and I think it's the fact he sort of hopped to get Marchment in the air and his foot clips him. Again, real big stretches on both.

  9. I think the first one was deserved. He was out for blood and trying to demolish mason marchement so he kinda got what he deserved. But that second one definitely very questionable. Refs have been inconsistent as hell this series

  10. First off….they are not showing the full play on either penalty. If you didn't watch the game and are only looking at clips, I would make sure you are watching the full play. On both plays Foligno leaves his skates as he hits (or terribly misses a hit and gets instant karma for it) which should be considered charging. He leaves the bench on the first play and immediately goes from attacking the puck to attempt to hit Dallas. Dallas does not touch the puck so I guess I see where the refs call it interference. On the second play he tries to flying elbow hit (best hatcher killing JR impersonation) and fails. He does clip Marchment which causes him to fall even though March attempts to get out of the way. Again, I don't like the 'tripping' call but in both cases would like to see charging calls because that's exactly what he does. Maybe instead of complaining that Foligno blew a hit and a breakaway attempt he should just finish his opportunities. Foligno also completely flopped in the last game taking a penalty for embellishment. I don't watch him all the time but just based on this series I have no regret for any tick tack 50/50 call made on this guy. No, I don't want him to be injured but if he's out here trying to injure then I hope they do sit him in the box – that's why we have refs in the first place, player safety. This is the same reason Crosby sat out a year and why Savard never returned to play for Boston…..both from head hunting.

  11. I'm a Stars fan, and I don't think either calls were a penalty. However, Foligno's dive was ridiculous, and the stick never hit him in the face, and it was the forearm of Marchment that made contact.. Foligno has a history of being a bitch player and still is..

  12. I understand that those calls were horrible but the wild really got work on their special teams cause there PK is horrible
