Boston U isn’t a bad place for a prospect to develop and the fact that Willander is on the same continent really makes things a lot easier. I remember hearing a lot about Juolevi’s arrogance and entitlement when it came to believing he should be on the roster within 2 years of his draft year. I don’t see that happening with Willander. He seems a lot more mature and knows what he needs to do to get better. Assuming he doesn’t have a major injury setback, I see him as a top 4 at minimum, primarily because of his skating, IQ and advanced defensive game. If he’s a perennial 30-40 point producer who is a rock defensively and can get the puck to the forwards safely, he’ll be fine. But if he gets any sense of entitlement, like I got from Juolevi, he’s in trouble.
the part of the scrimmage i saw was sad. real beer league.
Love AV
