Last January, knowing long time centre Bo Horvat wouldn’t re-sign with the Canucks for a low enough per-season cap hit for that team to be able to afford, he’s then team decided to find a team to trade him to for a combo of players and draft picks. That team was the NY Islanders. Perhaps Chevy will do what his Canucks‘ counterpart Allvin last January did with Hellebuyck, but do so before the upcoming regular season begins rather than, unlike with Horvat, after it has gotten well underway.
nhl is fixed. The amount of missed penalties against the knights in the panthers series was crazy. Why bother watching.
Don’t agree entirely with the take in the beginning. For example Jets have tried to land big names – Meier this year, Stone last year. They have opted elsewhere or were outbid

This is the biggest crock of crap ever- Hellebuyck isn't going anywhere people! All he said is that he doesn't want to be a part of a rebuild, and luckily for him- the Jets are NOT rebuilding, so he has no reason to go anywhere else! Rick Bowness confirmed that himself, so Hellebuyck isn't going anywhere! Anything stating otherwise is nothing but lies and BS- made up by anti-Winnipeg Jets haters solely for clickbait!

Players can't entirely blame management, the lack of accountability for effort or lack there of on ice as well as on management are = in my opinion. What's shocking to me is ownership setting the sails to straight on towards the horizon despite what most at this point see as a failure of Jets management on multiple levels.
Hayes was horribly overrated AND overpaid. Flyers went nowhere.The players here certain players didnt step up when really need period
Thank goodness management didn't go all in. We have alot of the core who didn't show up after game one. This mix just doesn't work. Bringing in a " big name " wasn't going to change that. At least we still have our 1st round picks. But management/ ownership really do need to right this ship. It's the biggest off-season for the Jets since 2011.
On the Hellebuyck file, I believe many teams will be interested in wanting to use him. Where he goes after the Jets, weather this off-season, or sometime after that, is TBD.
Helle to LA would probably be centered around Spence, Iafallo or Arvidsson, one of our young forward prospects like Pinelli, and picks. Vilardi could be involved but Clarke and Byfield are nonstarters for LA.
